Mercedes-Benz Ponton Swap Meet

Complete set of doors, hood, and fenders from a 1958 Mercedes-Benz Type 180/190, 4-cylinder Ponton sedan. Will ship individual parts, or as a lot. See zip file for photos.

The car had been stored inside before I parted it out. All parts have been stored inside, and out of the weather. I also have the bumpers, and the front, and rear glass but haven’t gotten around to getting them ready to sell.

• Hood: no rust on the outside, and little on the inside. No dents or dings. It has trim on the front by the lights. Asking $200 OBO.

• Right front fender: rust on the inside by the headlight, and upper portion. Mostly straight, minor ding at the top corner by the light. $100 OBO.

• Left front fender: not much rust on the underside, minor dings at the bottom on the headlight end. $100 OBO.

• Door prices: $300 each. All doors have glass, hinges, rubber and outside metal trim except the bottom outside.

• Left front door: has all trim but the bottom, includes glass, hinges and rubber, no dents, no panel on the inside, and has rust under the window on the inside, and the bottom on the inside.

• Right front door: has all trim but the bottom, includes glass, hinges, rubber, no dents, rust at bottom of window on the inside, and inside of the door.

• Left rear door: has all trim but the bottom, includes glass, hinges, rubber, no dents, rust at bottom of window on the inside, and inside of the door. This door has a panel, and the handles on the inside.

• Right rear door: has all trim but the bottom, includes glass, hinges, rubber, no dents, rust at bottom of window on the inside, and inside of the door.

Selection of interior, and exterior trim parts for Mercedes-Benz Pontons. Ash trays, door pulls, window cranks, escutcheons, door locks, trunk handles (with license plate light), heater control lever, knobs, etc. They are in good, used, presentable condition (see photos). Mahle KX39 fuel filters (4-pack). Exact same as Niemoeller sells. No gaskets/sealing rings - just the filters. I came across a local NAPA stock pile, and am offering them at the same price I paid (plus an actual shipping cost adjustment). These are not old stock, but the current Mahle offering. I would appreciate payment in some way that doesn't cost me extra so that I don't lose money. I have a PayPal account tied to my email, but I'm unsure of the charges involved with that. This email address is also used for my online banking "Interac E-Transfers", but not sure if that is seamless between the US and Canada. I also have them listed on eBay for more money to cover their fees.

Behr® radiator taken from a 1960 W128 220SE Mercedes-Benz Ponton cabriolet. May have originally been from a W180 220S Ponton. Worked perfectly. Study the photos to verify that the angles/locations of the ports, side studs, and lower mounting bracket all meet your application requirements. More photos available upon request.

Hood ornament with spring, clip, and spacer for a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190b (W121) Ponton sedan, VIN 12101060004205. I do not have the correct part number. See photo.

Complete set of four NOS doors for Mercedes-Benz Type 180/190 (W120) Ponton sedans. See 32 zipped photos.

Water pump or repair kit for 1962 Mercedes-Benz Type 190Db (W121). Three hole flange, short.

Used steering box removed from a Mercedes-Benz Type W121 190 Ponton parts car. Part number: 186-461-0705.

Right (passenger) rear fender, new old stock (NOS), from M-B dealer, in primer, never installed. Fits Mercedes-Benz Types 180/190/219. Perfect condition, no dents or rust, including integral fuel door.

Set of two California YOM (1956) license plates "EUE 683" – DMV clear. Have a 1960 sticker. Excellent Original condition. Not repainted or restored. Would love for these to live on another Ponton.

Set of four studded snow tires (13" wheel). Signet Winter Trax P185/80 R13. Excellent "used" condition. Great tires. Sold my Mercedes-Benz Ponton, so no longer need the tires. Regional pickup, or will ship at cost.

Grille Air Seal Strip for Mercedes-Benz Type W128 220SE Ponton. This seal is only found on the W128 220SE models, and mounts on the sides of the radiator support. Its function is to direct the air from the grille into the radiator. Never reproduced before and now available for a limited time. Comes complete with (2) seal strips and (6) Chicago type screws to mount the seal to the support brackets.

Parts for 1959 W180 220S Ponton sedan. California car. Surprisingly rust free. Parting out to finish restoration of my 1959 220S. Will consider global shipping of just about anything. Engine ran when parked, not stuck.

As a hobby, I have collected, cleaned, and refurbished quite a few electric and manual Mercedes-Benz VDO Kienzle automobile clocks. I have other models, so if you don't see yours, let me know—I may have one.

In some cases, I am unsure which M-B model they are from, so you need to match with your needs.

All have been bench tested and are in working order. They are in various condition (i.e. pitted, dented, etc.), or in perfect condition. Will provide detailed photos as requested. These are all original equipment, i.e. no quartz or other replacements.

Front left door interior wood trim for 1959 Mercedes-Benz Type 220S Ponton sedan.

10 brand new Febi Bilstein swing arm boots in sealed, un-opened boxes. They fit Mercedes-Benz Pontons, and also the following Mercedes-Benz chassis: 108/109/110/111/113 and possibly others. These fit just about everything with a swing arm rear suspension. After looking at installing one of those horrible split boots I managed to land a deal for lots of these. The proceeds should be good for barter to continue my 220S project. Lets trade! With the rear axle pulled out of the way, this is not a difficult job. Besides, if the boot is already bad on your project, imagine how much longer the wheel seal is going to last. If unsure about whether this will work for you, please contact me.

Ponton Poker Deck (First Edition) – set of 52 playing cards (plus one joker, and two wild cards) featuring photos of Mercedes-Benz Pontons belonging to the members of the International Ponton Owners Group (IPOG). The cards are poker size (2½ in × 3½ in, or 63 mm × 88 mm, or B8 size according to ISO 216). Painstakingly created over a two year period by graphic artist Lenna Winther-Saxe, and released for the September 2011 East Coast Ponton Congress (ECPC). Each card is unique, and beautifully designed. These are destined to be treasured by card players, collectors, and enthusiasts of all vintage Mercedes-Benz and European cars. Novel gift for those who thought they had everything.

German-made OEM style hose clamps for all Mercedes-Benz Pontons, Adenauers, Gullwings, Roadsters, Fintails and W108/9. These are in sets of the correct 5 mm and 9 mm size and are made from zinc plated steel. There are 10 clamps of each size, and 3 meters (10' ) of strapping, sufficient for most models. An instruction sheet on how to construct them will be included.
