Mercedes-Benz Ponton Swap Meet

NOS steering box for right hand drive (RHD) Mercedes-Benz Type 180/190 Ponton sedan. Part number 120-460-17-01. No longer available from M-B or third-party vendors. Purchased new in 1976, but never installed on a car.

1958 Mercedes-Benz Type 180D body shell. Includes four doors, trunk lid, front and rear glass. Have remaining body parts, and will list separately once I sort out what's in storage, or make me an offer for all. Will separate anything.

1 Mercedes-Benz Bakelite radio surround with speaker and grill cloth. Like new. 

Two new old stock headlight rims, and one used headlight rim.

Ten (10) 14" Mercedes-Benz trim rings. Note: Ponton wheels are typically 13".

Blaupunkt radio for vintage Mercedes-Benz. Will fit all Ponton bodies and 190SL. Amplifier included. Unknown working condition. 

New after-market replacement interior floor panels for 1953-1962 Mercedes-Benz Type 180/190/219/220S Ponton models. Made in the U.S.A. to exact original specifications. We laminate two pieces of 3/16" masonite, add sound deadening material to the underside, then seal the top so it is moisture resistant. Item shown is for the right passenger side. Order left, right, or both. Simply remove the old panels and replace with these.

Becker "Mexico" AM/FM vacuum tube radio. Power supply not included. Made in Germany, looks complete; includes the Bakelite surround, and knobs. Removed from a late 1950s Mercedes-Benz Ponton. Missing one center chrome trim piece. Untested, but clean with no dings, dents or unwanted modifications.

Liquidating a huge, 30-year stash of 1950 - 1970 Mercedes-Benz car parts. The focus of this collection has been the Ponton series (1953 - 1962). Tons of trim, sheet metal, rear-ends, glass, and much more. N.O.S. and used parts. Lots of rare items. We are liquidating, so all items must go.

Ponton Poker Deck (first edition, first printing) — set of 52 playing cards (plus joker and two wild cards) featuring Mercedes-Benz Pontons owned by members of the International Ponton Owners Group (IPOG). Poker size (2½in × 3½in; 63 mm × 88 mm, or B8 size according to ISO 216). Condition: New, sealed in plastic.

Painstakingly created over a two year period by graphic artist Lenna Winther-Saxe, and released for the September 2011 East Coast Ponton Congress (ECPC).

Each card is unique, and beautifully designed. Destined to be treasured by card players, automobilia collectors, and enthusiasts of all vintage Mercedes-Benz and European cars. Novel gift for those who thought they had everything.

Fog lamp replacement screws. Only had 100 made. Now is the time to replace those rusty screws. Rubber o-ring included with first 50 sold.

Fuel pump gaskets. Gasket "A" is for the lever type fuel pump cover, "B" is for the later fuel filter can, and "C" is for the early screen type.

Carburetor kit for Mercedes-Benz Type W105 219 Ponton sedan. Includes the two manifold gaskets.

Carburetor gasket for under the carburetor, and on both sides of the Bakelite spacer when carburetors are removed for repair. Four are needed for Mercedes-Benz Type 190 Ponton sedans. Eight are needed for Mercedes-Benz Type 220S Ponton models. Solves a lot or rough running problems.

Reproduction chassis / type plates for all Mercedes-Benz Ponton models. Made in U.S.A. There are three engine tags, three different paint tags, four VIN plate configurations, a couple of body tags. The buyer would have to determine which combination they wanted as there are many variants. Can be engraved specific numbers for $10 each. Paint tag numbers engraved free.

Carburetor rebuild kit for Solex 32 PAITA* carb used on Types W121 190/190b and W180 220S Mercedes-Benz Pontons. *The 32 PAITA carb is sometimes referred to as 32 PAJTA in literature. See the specification page for application and more notes.

FOR SALE:

Door handle screw cover plates for Mercedes-Benz Pontons. Final shipment of these hand-made door handle screw cover plates. Also known as "fingernails." They are made of brass and are chrome plated. I have a limited supply of 20 sets and they will not be produced again. The measure 16.68 mm and fit tightly in the plate. Sold only in sets of four for $50 per set including postage in U.S.A. Will ship overseas at additional cost. Picture may show slight light refraction, but they are smooth.

German-made OEM style hose clamps for all Mercedes-Benz Pontons, Adenauers, Gullwings, Roadsters, Fintails and W108/9. These are in sets of the correct 5mm and 9mm size and are made from zinc plated steel. There are 10 clamps of each size, and 3 meters (10' ) of strapping, sufficient for most models. An instruction sheet on how to construct them will be included.
