In October 1997, Nick Thompson loaned his 220a Ponton to a Mercedes-Benz dealer as part of a promotion to launch the new A-Class Mercedes-Benz.
Nick and his son in London, England displaying first prize trophies in the "street Concours d'Elegance saloon class" of the U.K. Mercedes-Benz club "AGM" (Annual General Meeting).
