Model 122 / Burdett, New York USA / 1999 / This car was part of an extensive "foreign" car graveyard near Watkins Glen. Just a few miles north of Watkins Glen on the east side of Seneca lake (Route 414). Mainly, it was a graveyard for Swedish, German, British, and Italian sedans and wagons. The owner did not appear to be parting them out. They were just in a retired state, quietly resting, and rusting. I stopped several times to investigate but never saw anyone around the place. The cars were parked in an orderly fashion on a grassy 10 acre hillside.
Model 144 / Pultneyville, New York USA / Easter Sunday, 1987. Lake Ontario is in the background. In terms of area, Ontario is the smallest of the Great Lakes, but it is still huge. The smallest Great Lake in terms of volume is Lake Erie.
